A highly trained and respected Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Kohout has lectured nationally and internationally, published an impressive array of research papers and featured on television shows including Channel 7's "Ultimate Transformation" and "The Body Specialist" and Channel 9's "Body Works".
Several years ago, he saw the need in his practice for laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation. These treatments proved to be very successful and demand grew rapidly.

Qualifications of Dr Mark Kohout Experience and expertise
After graduating from medicine in 1985, Dr Kohout trained in general medicine and surgery in both Australia and Great Britain.
While training in plastic surgery in Great Britain, Dr Kohout earned two prestigious fellowships and in 1990 became a Fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Following this, Dr Kohout spent a year conducting microsurgical research which earned him a Master of Surgery Degree from Melbourne University.
Dr Kohout continued another 4 years training in Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery in Australia, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 1996.
He then spent a further year of training in Maxillofacial and Cosmetic Surgery at the prestigious Harvard Medical School, Boston in the United States.
Dr Kohout is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He has lectured in Cosmetic and Plastic surgery at national and international conferences and has published numerous scientific papers.
Dr Kohout is a regular contributor to the Cosmetic Surgery Magazine and practices privately in Sydney and Orange.
